Planet Technologies is excited to welcome Scott Dowling as Cloud Strategist joining our leading state and local government division.

Prior to joining Planet, Scott was a top Solution Sales Professional providing customers with technical guidance specific to Microsoft cloud solutions and best practices. As a Director of Cloud Solutions, he has been instrumental in defining Managed Services Programs to decrease risk and increase user adoption within the Microsoft 365 product stack. Scott has a long history of assisting government, healthcare, and commercial customers, from SMB to Fortune 500, with their move to the cloud by implementing a risk adverse and detailed action plan. He has deep understanding of Azure, SQL, and the overall Microsoft cloud landscape and licensing strategies, which have provided him with a unique perspective and enabled his customers to leverage his technical architecture knowledge, industry use cases, and seamless user adoption strategies, as well as identifying Microsoft cost savings.

At Planet, Scott’s primary responsibilities as a Cloud Strategist/Engagement Manager will be to provide leadership and management excellence in the delivery of services concentrating on Azure, Office 365, Dynamics 365 and Planet’s expanding managed cloud services portfolio, including managed solutions like Evolve 365, Azure Advantage, and O365 Advantage. Scott’s extensive technology and customer knowledge is a great addition to our leading Microsoft cloud consulting team.
